What is a Pyrolyser? And how can it benefit your business?
The image above show the customer project in situ. The was built, tested and transported to the USA, where it will be used to create bio-char.
A pyrolyser is a device that is used to carry out pyrolysis, which is a process of thermal decomposition of organic materials in the absence of oxygen. Pyrolysis is typically used to convert organic materials into useful products such as biochar, bio-oil, and syngas.
A pyrolyser typically consists of a reactor vessel that is heated to high temperatures using a variety of methods such as electric heating elements, gas burners, or microwaves. The organic material is then fed into the reactor vessel, where it is subjected to high temperatures and a lack of oxygen. As a result, the organic material decomposes and produces a range of different products depending on the specific conditions used in the pyrolysis process.
Pyrolysis is a promising technology for producing renewable energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It has a wide range of potential applications, including in the production of biofuels, biochar for soil improvement, and as a means of waste management.
